I make no pretense that I am classically trained, however I continue to study and learn. For me, its about the results of the image that was put in front of my eyes and that I was fortunate enough to be able to capture.. As a boy my dad was always taking photos of our family and the world around us.This was at a time when taking photos was not as common as it is today. I loved to watch as he would look down into his Kodak Reflex II camera and take the photos.When I got a little older, he showed me the process of printing a black and white photograph in the darkroom. To see an image appear once the paper was put into the chemicals was magic! I was amazed and forever hooked.I got my first camera when I was about ten years old. It was a Kodak 110 Insta-Matic. Ever since that time, I have been trying to capture the world as I see it. The ability to close one eye and see how a photo would be framed in the camera also fascinates me.
