I photograph, but I also specialize in photo-led feature articles - yes I am a photographer that can write. This portfolio includes a collection of images produced while on assignment for newspapers, magazines and books. My clients include Backpacker and Seakayaker mags, Perseus and McGraw Hill book publishers, the Sunday Times, Getaway (SA) and others. And I have photographed for Mercedes Benz and Absa Bank in South Africa, and a number of safari lodges. USA credits include Major League Baseball, the US Equestrian Association and the federal government. In addition I have designed an environmental education program for which I built a website that relies heavily on images and video - www.hiddencorner.us. Until recently I worked as director of communications at Woods Hole Research Center on Cape Cod, where I served a team of scientists, communicating their findings on climate change, and the effects of deforestation on the environment and local communities at the landscape level in the Arctic, Amazon, Cong
