As our County grows, we lose a significant amount of natural habitat which has a negative impact on air quality, water quality, soil stability, wildlife species, and ultimately, our quality of life. Our mission is to promote the conservation, enhancement, and restoration of quality habitat in Our County./strong>/p> p>strong>Our motto is /strong>span classauto-style5>strong>Think Habitat, Not Grass/strong>/span>strong>. As the population expands, we typically replace the natural habitat with turf grass which must be mowed and offers little environmental benefits or wildlife habitat. Whether you have a large community common area or a small space in your yard, replacing the mowed turf grass with natural habitat will provide important benefits to our environment and wildlife.
