Farley, Jr., building upon his prior success against the State of Illinois, has obtained a Settlement Agreement with the State of Colorado in February, 2024, to provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services to children under the age of 21 who are enrolled in Colorado’s Medicaid Program and have been diagnosed with a mental health or behavioral disorder. Intensive Behavioral Health Services will include such services as intensive care coordination, intensive in-home and community services, mobile crisis intervention and stabilization services. The State of Colorado with input from Robert H. Farley, Jr., and others will work to develop a robust implementation plan in the next 12 months to improve the delivery of services to the children and implement that plan over the next 5 years. /p> /div> div class stylebackground-color:#c2bc87; margin-top:16px;padding:40px 30px 30px 60px;min-height:275px;> div styletext-align:left;float:left;color:#FFFFFF;>a href/pdf/the_book_2023.pdf target_blank>img styleborder: 1px solid #FFFFFF; src/images/the-book-thumb-2023.jpg altThe Book by Attorney Robert Farley cover thumbnail image link widthauto height220 />/a> p styletext-align:center;c>a stylecolor:#00002d; href/pdf/the_book_2023.pdf target_blank>FREE PDF DOWNLOAD/a>/p>/div> div stylefloat:left;width:72%;padding-left:60px;>p stylefont-size:20px;color:#a40000;>strong>NEW EDITION FOR 2023/strong>/p> h2 stylecolor:#00002d;text-align:left;font-size:24pt;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:14px;>HOW TO NAVIGATE THE ILLINOIS DISABILITY SYSTEM/h2> p stylecolor:#00002d;font-size:24px;margin-top:5px;margin-bottom:14px;>What Every Parent and Educator Needs to Know About Obtaining Funding and Services for a DisabledChild/Adult in the State of Illinois... em>and How to Secure Their Future./em>/p>p styletext-align:right; padding-right:12%;color:#00002d;font-size:20px;margin-top:5px;>by Attorney Robert H. Besides pulling 700 new adults from the PUNS list, the State will select 100 children from the PUNS list for childrens Home-Based Support services for the first time in 12 years./p> p>Your child cannot be selected unless he or she is on the PUNS or Waiting List for services. You need to contact your local Independent Service Coordination Agency to get on the Waiting List./p> p>Given that the State does not pull names off the Waiting List if the adult person is in the Planning for Services category. My strong suggestion is that your child be registered in the Seeking Services category and a list of examples of seeking services is contained in my book, How to Navigate the Illinois Disability System at Exhibit B and the book is on the website. If your child is already on the Waiting List, you should confirm that he or she is in the Seeking Services category and, if not, you can update your childs status at any time./p> /div> div idcontentright> !-- todo wide ad --> div stylepadding:18px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#470000;margin-bottom:14px;border:2px solid #A77A18;background-color:#F0F0E0;>2024 Workshops are on ZOOM.
