One intriguing difference between the two groups: there were more cases of physical evidence presented to back up the testimony of urban American Indians. As with her first book, this volume not only recounts their encounters, but the recounting itself becomes part of the story. As in her previous two books, Dr. Clarkes journey and the unique, incredible stories collected along the way provides answers to age-old questions in the words of the original people of America and sheds new light on their connection with the cosmos./p> div idp7APM_1 classp7APM01> div classp7APMtrig> h3>a href#p7APMc1_1 idp7APMt1_1>Chapter List (click to open)/a>/h3> /div> div idp7APMw1_1 classp7APMcwrapper> div idp7APMc1_1 classp7APMcontent> div idp7APMp1_1 classp7APMpanelcontent> p>Title Pagebr />Dedicationbr />Acknowledgmentsbr />Table of Contentsbr />Authors Notebr />Introductionbr />Chapter 1 - Traveling the Universal Highwaybr />Chapter 2 - Aliens and an Abandoned Copper Minebr />Chapter 3 - I Met my Wife on a UFObr />Chapter 4 - A UFO on a Southwestern Reservationbr />Chapter 5 - He made me feel like an Old Friendbr />Chapter 6 - The Brothers br />Chapter 7 - A UFO at the Top of the Worldbr />Chapter 8 - Abductions of an Unusual Kindbr />Chapter 9 - Earth was once their Homebr />Chapter 10 - A UFO on Bear Butte br />Chapter 11 - They are My Obsessionbr />Chapter 12 - A Deputy Sheriffs Encounterbr />Chapter 13 - A UFO at Hebgen Lakebr /> Chapter 14 - A Watcher in Death Valleybr />Chapter 15 - We are the Protectorsbr />Chapter 16 - My Daughter is Not Minebr />Chapter 17 - Masters of Deceitbr />Chapter 18 - Im no longer a Skepticbr />Chapter 19 - Encounter on a Wyoming Highwaybr />Chapter 20 - Tina and a Hybrid Babybr />Chapter 21 - There are Many Alien Speciesbr />Chapter 22 - Night Fishing in Wyomingbr />Chapter 23 - Snowmobilers Witness an Moose Abductionbr />Chapter 24 - A Hunter, an Alien and a Montana Blizzardbr />Chapter 25 - They called me a Defenderbr />Chapter 26 - Another Flatwoods Monster?br />Chapter 27 - A Fiery Ball from the Skybr />Chapter 28 - He Glowedbr />Chapter 29 - The Glowing Sunsbr />Chapter 30 - They Took Antonio that Nightbr />Chapter 31 - The Star People Have No Namesbr />Chapter 32 - Somewhere in Montanabr />Chapter 33 - The Joiner br />Chapter 34 - An Event in the Evergladesbr />Chapter 35 - We are not a Prioritybr />Chapter 36 - Cat Eyesbr />Chapter 37 - It happened in the Bear Pawbr />Chapter 38 - My DNA is Close to Theirsbr />Chapter 39 - Aliens on Archuleta Mesa?br />Chapter 40 - A Strange Encounter at Joes Placebr />Bibliographybr />About the Authorbr /> /p>/div> /div> /div> !--if lte IE 7>style>.p7APM01, .p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper, .p7APM01 .p7APMtrig a {zoom: 1;}/style>!endif--> !--if IE 5>style>.p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper {height: auto !important;}/style>!endif--> script typetext/javascript>P7_opAPM(1,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,3,0,1000,250);/script> /div> p alignjustify> /p>/td> /tr> /table> p> /p> h2>span classsection-header>The Libraryspan classsubheading>img srcp7mercury/images/divider (600).png alt width600 height50 />/span>/span>/h2> p aligncenter>strong>-/strong>/p> table width100% border1> tr> td width25%>div aligncenter> p>img srcp7mercury/images/book covers/sp book/thumbs/sp_book_cover_tn.jpg alt width100 height150 />/p> p>a hrefhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1601633475/refas_li_tl?ieUTF8&camp1789&creative9325&creativeASIN1601633475&linkCodeas2&tagardysixkclar-20&linkIdERAOWI3RKHZXCTFQ>Sky People: Untold Stories of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica/a>/p> /div>/td> td width75%>p alignjustify>em>Sky People, Untold Stories of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica/em> is the result of a vow made by Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke as a teenager to follow in the footsteps of two 19th-century explorers, John L. The first person accounts, described as conscious experiences and recalled without the aid of hypnosis, reveal a worldview that unquestionably accepts the reality of Aliens or Star People. The stories also reveal cultures that almost universally regard Star People as ancestors, which allows for interactions that take place without fear and helps explain the uniqueness of the encounters and experiences. The stories range from an account of a UFO crash landing on a reservation where a team of alien scientists waited for a rescue, the unveiling of a petrified alien heart to an elder who had earned the title of "the man who shot an alien" among his family and friends. Others told stories of aliens who assumed human identity, and were quietly inhabiting Earth to a race of aliens who lived underground./p> p alignjustify>The stories were told by people from all walks of life. Some had graduate degrees; others had never attended school. Some were adept at technology; others had never used a cell phone, owned a computer or a television set. A few of the stories were about events that occurred before the 1947 Roswell incident, however, the majority of the events took place between 1990 and 2010. This book contributes to the knowledge about UFOs from a group that until now have mostly remained silent. For readers, it is likely they will never look at the UFO/Alien phenomenon in the same way again./p> div idp7APM_2 classp7APM01> div classp7APMtrig> h3>a href#p7APMc2_1 idp7APMt2_1>Chapter List (click to open)/a>/h3> /div> div idp7APMw2_1 classp7APMcwrapper> div idp7APMc2_1 classp7APMcontent> div idp7APMp2_1 classp7APMpanelcontent> p>CONTENTSbr /> Author’s Notebr /> Preface br /> Chapter 1: Missing Time br /> Chapter 2: An Encounter that Pre-Dates Roswell br /> Chapter 3: Sometimes They Come for Families br /> Chapter 4: The Man Who Shot an Alien br /> Chapter 5: An Alien, A Spacecraft, and an Alaskan Blizzard br /> Chapter 6: They Are Among Us br /> Chapter 7: A Star Traveler br /> Chapter 8: Three Military Veterans Describe an Encounter of the First Kind br /> Chapter 9: Alien Abductions of the Not-So-Common Kind br /> Chapter 10: Encounters of the Fifth Kind br /> Chapter 11: Disappearances in the Southwest br /> Chapter 12: They Hover Over Missile Sites br /> Chapter 13: A Vietnam Veteran Reveals a Gift from the Star People br /> Chapter 14: An Alien Heart br /> Chapter 15: They Live Underground br /> Chapter 16: Abductions of a Different Kind br /> Chapter 17: We Are Not of This Earth br /> Chapter 18: Where the Buffalo Play br /> Chapter 19: They Are Shapeshifters br /> Chapter 20: Liberators from Space br /> Chapter 21: Two Women Speak Their Minds br /> Chapter 22: They Will Be Gone When I Am 25 br /> Chapter 23: No Guns Allowed br /> Chapter 24: The Little People Are the Star People br /> Chapter 25: The Story of a Traveling Marble br /> Chapter 26: Four Police Officers Come Forward br /> Chapter 27: An Alien Hitchhiker br /> Chapter 28: American Indians and the Cosmic Connection br /> Acknowledgments/p> /div> /div> /div> !--if lte IE 7>style>.p7APM01, .p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper, .p7APM01 .p7APMtrig a {zoom: 1;}/style>!endif--> !--if IE 5>style>.p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper {height: auto !important;}/style>!endif--> script typetext/javascript>P7_opAPM(2,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,3,0,1000,250);/script> /div> p alignjustify> /p>/td> /tr> /table> p aligncenter> /p> table width100% border1> tr> td width25%>div aligncenter>a hrefp7mercury/images/book covers/sitb book/full/sitb_book_cover.jpg title"Sisters In The Blood" book cover. rellightboxNonFiction>img srcp7mercury/images/book covers/sitb book/thumbs/sitb_book_cover_tn.jpg width99 height150 />/a>/div>/td> td width75%>div alignjustify>em>Sisters in the Blood/em> is the result of a year-long research study among American Indian women from the Northern Plains Indian Tribes. During her travels and speaking engagements, Dr. Clarke researched and interviewed indigenous people who reported encounters with UFOs and aliens throughout the world. Dr. Clarke is available to speak about her research, relate stories of encounters not reported in her books as well as discuss those individuals featured in her current book. She may also give a preview of her book-in-progress about her third book (stories collected in last 4 years ) among American Indian participants which range from encounters with little people and giants, stories of a big-foot type character and alien encounters. She is also available to discuss the spirituality aspects of indigenous UFO encounters./p> /div> /div> /div> !--if lte IE 7>style>.p7APM01, .p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper, .p7APM01 .p7APMtrig a {zoom: 1;}/style>!endif--> !--if IE 5>style>.p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper {height: auto !important;}/style>!endif--> script typetext/javascript>P7_opAPM(4,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,3,0,1000,250);/script> /div> p alignleft> /p> p aligncenter>img srcp7mercury/images/divider (600).png width600 height50 />/p> /div> /div> div classp7HPSsection idsection-5> div classsection-content> h2 classsection-header>Journalspan classsubheading>img srcp7mercury/images/divider (600).png width600 height50 />/span>/h2> p>Ardys Journal will keep you up-to-date on events, ideas, and musings about Ardys life and interests. Born on May Pat Frank was the pen name for Patrick Hart Frank a journalist and information handler for several newspapers, agencies, and government bureaus. His used his years of experience observing the bureaucracy of the federal government and military and the threat of nuclear proliferation and annihilation in his writing./p> p alignjustify>During my first year as a English teacher, em>Alas, Babylon/em> was on the required reading list for high school students. Over the years, I chose the book as one of the novels I taught in my high school English classes; therefore I not only have a strong connection with the book, I have read it innumerable times. I have repeatedly met former students who have told me that one of the things they will always remember about high school was reading em>Alas, Babylon/em>. One young woman told me that it was the first complete novel she had ever read and it set her on a path to becoming a book-lover./p> /div> /div> /div> div classp7APMtrig> h3>a href#p7APMc3_2 idp7APMt3_2>September 10/a>/h3> /div> div idp7APMw3_2 classp7APMcwrapper> div idp7APMc3_2 classp7APMcontent> div idp7APMp3_2 classp7APMpanelcontent> p alignjustify>I have been following the events of a young woman who committed suicide as a result of Internet bullying. Bullying events leading to suicide and a variety of other ills is a common story-line on TV news shows, magazines and the internet. Bullying has always been a part of growing up. I was bullied when I was in elementary school. When I reported it to teachers, they told me to ignore it. As a teacher, I observed it on a regular basis and stood strong with students who were victims. One of the stories I always used to bring home the subtleties of bullying was a Ray Bradbury story, "All Summer in a Day." For teachers out there, this science fiction short story, set on the planet, Venus, is a good way to lead a discussion about bullying and how it affects not only the child who is bullied, but the bullies as well./p> p alignjustify>Plot: The story is about a class of school children who live on Venus, a planet that experiences constant rainstorms. The sun is only visible for one hour every seven years. Margot, a child born on Earth, but living on Venus, remembers the sun. She describes it to the students as "a penny" and "like a fire in the stove." The other children have never seen the sun and do not believe her. Out of jealousy, they gang up on her and lock her in a closet on the day the sun is supposed to shine. When their teacher arrives to take the class outside to enjoy the sunshine, Margot is forgotten. During the hour of sunshine, her classmates run, play, jump and savor every moment of life in the sunshine. But then, the raindrops fall and the children are hustled back indoors. Suddenly one of the children remember that Margot is locked in the closet. They are ashamed for what they have done, but the sun has come and gone, and because of their contemptible act, Margot has missed the sun./p> /div> /div> /div> !--if lte IE 7>style>.p7APM01, .p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper, .p7APM01 .p7APMtrig a {zoom: 1;}/style>!endif--> !--if IE 5>style>.p7APM01 .p7APMcwrapper {height: auto !important;}/style>!endif--> script typetext/javascript>P7_opAPM(3,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,3,0,1000,250);/script> /div> /div> /div> div classp7HPSsection idsection-6> div classsection-content> h1 classsection-header>FAQsspan classsubheading>img srcp7mercury/images/divider (600).png alt width600 height50 />/span>/h1> p>strong>Are you on Face Book, My Space or any other social media?/strong>/p> p>Ardy does not have a Face Book page or any other social media, nor does she plan to have one./p> p>strong>What is Dr. Clarke’s email address?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>You may contact Ardy by clicking on the typewriter in "The Author" section. Join a writers group in your community. Write, Rewrite and Write again./p> p>strong>Do you teach any courses or seminars?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>Occasionally, but she has none planned for the future. Her seminars deal with writing non-fiction. For example, Dr. Clarke is one of the most successful grant writers in the country and is well-known nationally for her grant-writing workshops. She also specializes in conducting qualitative research projects for books and her memoir-writing seminars./p> p alignjustify>She prefers to do workshops with small groups. If you have a group that would like to get together in the mountains of Montana for a writing retreat, contact her. A minimum group is 8 and the maximum is 12. If you have special needs, please contact her./p> p>strong>Does Dr. Clarke speak at UFO Conferences?/strong>/p> p>Yes. she does speak at UFO Conferences. Please watch the “Announcements” section for scheduled appearances./p> p>strong>How do I get Dr. Clarkes autograph?/strong>/p> p>Contact Dr. Clarke. She can privately arrange for you to send your book to her to be autographed. /p> p>strong>Does Dr. Clarke write fiction?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>Yes, she does write fiction, but to date, most of her fiction has been short stories which have been published as a part of educational curriculum. She is currently working on a work of fiction./p> p>strong>Does she have any plans to write more children’s books?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>She is currently putting the final touches on two young adult books. She plans to publish them as an e-book. Check back occasionally. An announcement will be made when the books are published and available./p> p alignleft>strong>Why did you remove your poetry and short story page?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>With the demands on her time for speaking engagements combined with her current writing projects, it has been very difficult for Dr. Clarke to maintain her poetry and short story pages. For that reason they have been removed./p> p alignleft>strong>What happened to the "Day in the Life of Mother Earth" section?/strong>/p> p alignleft>At the request of Dr. Clarke, we have removed that section. Look for it in the future./p> p>strong>Is Dr. Clarke married?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>Yes. She is married. She also has two children – the four legged kind. Prairie Rose Too, her Lhasa Apso baby, is her constant and faithful companion and Rez Perez, a stray Maine Coon cat rescued in below-zero weather on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. Rez has never set foot outside the house since she was brought home – 12 years ago. Sometimes she will stick her head outside the door and look around and then quickly retreat to inside. The closest she gets to nature is sitting on the window sill and watching the world go by. Rez and Prairie are good companions and play together./p> p>strong>What are Dr. Clarkes favorite genres?/strong>/p> p alignjustify>Dr. Clarke likes fiction. She likes literary fiction, science fiction, and mysteries. Last year, she read books by female authors for 6 months. This past year, she has been reading apocalyptic, post end-of-the-world fiction. She generally spends a couple of months during the holidays reading the new Christmas book releases./p> /div> /div> div classp7HPSsection last idsection-7> div classsection-content> h2 classsection-header>Contact Mespan classsubheading>img srcp7mercury/images/divider (600).png width600 height50 />/span>/h2> p> /p> p aligncenter>a hrefmailto:ardy@sixkiller.com>img srcp7mercury/images/typewriter.png width281 height250 />/a>/p> p alignjustify>You are invited to contact me about my books, writing and appearances.
