If we ever get back on track further details including an application form will be available on this site NYMCCC.UKbr />br />For some years the NYMCCC has been an annual cycle ride starting from Fylingdales Village Hall at the top of Robin Hood’s Bay. It follows the Cinder Track (old railway line) to Whitby and returns past the start point, then via Ravenscar, to the outskirts of Scarborough. The return route from Scarborough leaves the track at Ravenscar and follows the road for a short climb to Stoupe Brow mast, the highest point in the area, the road then drops down to re-join the track and continues to finish and refreshments at Fylingdales Village Hall. The event is not a race and the challenge is to complete the 38 mile ride. The track, as the name suggests, is mostly surfaced with cinders, it can be a little bumpy and muddy in parts after rain, there are some lengthy climbs, but none too steep as it was formerly a railway line.br />br />/p>p classcentred>-:-/p>img styleborder-radius:15px centred title Marker at the Whitby turning point altNCN1 milepost srcimages/ncn1.jpg />/div>div classframe3 centred >/div>div classframe2 centred >/div>div classframe centred >h2>North Yorkshire Moors Coastal Cycle Challenge/h2>/div>footer classfaint>Maintained by a hrefjavascript:mailto(phils-sites.uk,phil) titleSend Phil an eMail>Phil Hatton/a>/foo
