But this is not a straight forward path, and I find myself changing fields quite often. I had done some studies in accountancy, geography, and computer science, and in my university days, had tried to do a double major in biology and chemistry. I was involved in the study of bryology, then the conservation of the environment. I then went on to work in the corporate sector in microbiology, and then was involved in oncology research before going into school counselling, and finally doing therapy in my own practice. /font>/div>div>font color#43413A faceBookman Old Style>BR>/font>/div>div>font color#43413A faceBookman Old Style>I obtained my Diploma in Holistic Counselling for Schools from MOE, and after which, a Masters in Professional Counselling, from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, and obtained a Diploma in Clinical Supervision from ECTA in 2013. I have been a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) from June 2010, and a registed clinical supervisor from 2015.  At the moment, I have my private practice at North Bridge Centre, and do free lance work with MOE, WHP Services and provide supervision for counselling interns in ECTA. /font>/div>div>font color#43413A faceBookman Old Style>BR>/font>/div>div>font color#43413A faceBookman Old Style>Professionally, I am also privileged to be elected as the 2nd Vice President of SAC, for the term of 2018 - 2020. In my term, I had represented SAC to deliver a presentation at the Pertapis Hope Beyond Challenge conference in 2019 as well as being a panellist at the same event. Other projects I had undertaken included the spearheading of the SAC Tech Fest at the end of the year in 2018, the SAC Appreciation Dinner in 2019, and setting the SAC Crisis Team Policy in 2020.
