I even posted one of my novels for reading with Spritz. Now they have a tool they call Spritzlet that can be used to read any webpage using Spritz technology. Today, things have changed. With the advent of the World Wide Web, writers gained a direct path to the reader. If you choose, you can simply write your story as Web pages and serve them to the reader. We also have the invention of print-on-demand to deliver physical books as they are sold. This means that an author can write their book and prepare it for publication, and then a vendor can sell the books and print them as they are ordered. /p> p>These factors have led to a revolution in the publishing business that is shaking the business to its foundation. How can you continue to dominate a business that no longer requires your services? This is the dilemma facing many publishers today. Authors can produce their own books and sell them or give them away without ever involving a publisher. /p> h3>GreyRaven Press/h3> p>I began GreyRaven Press (GRP) over twenty years ago as a small-press publisher of fiction for myself and for other new authors. I published a small-press quarterly fiction magazine for a while when I started out, as I was working on my first novel. Later, GRP was the publisher for my novels as they were posted for sale in various outlets. /p> p>Fast forward to today. The self-publishing channels are flooded with novels. Like the video channels for music, most of it is probably not worth reading, but the small percentage of good work is still much greater than anything weve had before. So what to do with a publishing company in this new economy? /p> p>I am now using this site to collect samples and pieces of larger works that are published elsewhere (like the sample chapters from the Imprisoned God, where the full novels are posted at ImprisonedGod.com) and others will be complete works that are too small for their own Web presence. I hope that you will enjoy reading my work. I hope that you will enjoy it enough to purchase the ebook version to keep a copy for yourself, or to order a print copy to give as a gift. Mostly, my priority is to tell stories and reach others. /p> p>So welcome, please enjoy your time here. Let me know what you think. /p> p>Todd A.
