Being unhappy with the way things turned out in Episode 8: The Last Jedi I tried to come up with a plot for the next movie that could set things right again. The story is not fleshed out, I just wanted to present a framework that fixes most problems fans are criticizing (Can´t undo the out-of-fuel story, sorry :-)). The backstory should be revealed during the new movie, the plot could easily be expanded with more characters/sidestories. Please enjoy!/p>h1>Episode 9: The Circle of Ren/h1>h3>Backstory/h3>p>Ren is a planet in the unknown regions where a group of sith sorcerers hid during the time of Darth Bane. This CIRCLE OF REN never challenged the rule of two by claiming the title of Lord of the Sith, but kept hidden and trained KNIGHTS OF REN to build up an army of followers  to choose  their successors on the Circle from and to expand their territory. They never were  powerful enough beings on their own, but could lend their combined strenght to one individual of their circle if need be. Thousand years later, after the death of the last Darthes Sidious and Vader, they gained even more power in the dark side and decided to finally step up and gain control of the galaxy. Snoke was sent to take control of the remains of the Empire and rebuilt it with the resources the Circle had been gathering in all those years./p>p>Luke Skywalker was the only real threat to the Circle, so they used sith alchemy and their combined power to cloud his mind and alter his personality and memories. After Snoke had successfully turned Ben Solo to the dark side they made Luke try to kill his nephew, but he was able to restrain himself and was overpowered by Ben, because he didn´t fight back. The destruction of his Jedi academy and the death of his students gave Luke the willpower to withstand the Sith sorcery long enough to change the memory of his daughter, to cloak her from being recogn
