Primary expertise: engines & running gear.>h2>Specialties:/h2>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT1-->My hobby/obsession is the repair & restoration of vintage/classic (50/60/70/80s) British, European & Japanese motorcycles. I have a special soft spot for vintage big bore 2S dirt bikes & thumpers of any kind. I was employed as journeyman motorcycle mechanic most of the 70's. I also raced MX and desert during this period (strictly amateur). Worked in shops that sold & serviced the following marques: AJS, Honda, Maico, Moto Guzzi, Norton, Puch, Suzuki, Triumph. Have owned, operated, maintained & repaired most of the others at one time or the other. I restore, collect, & barter with machines from my stable below. My idea of restoration is not a nut & bolt perfect OEM machine that doesn't run, has no oil or fuel, and sits in your office or man-cave. I can appreciate these machines but frankly during that era, motorcycles were usually modified as some of the OEM equipment didn't work all that well. Also, most riders of that era "individualized" their machines to what degree they could afford for how they used them (street, racing, etc). My "restorations" are good working machines with period mods & clean but rarely perfect cosmetics as they are meant to be ridden. They may or may not leak depending on the machine and modern sealants. If you see anything that strikes your fancy and have something interesting to trade, lets talk it over. Perhaps, I can be persuaded to part with one of my collection.BR>BR> I am going to be reducing my stable due to it just being time to thin the herd.BR>BR> * 77 Honda 750A automatic $TBDBR> * 73 Moto Guzzi El Dorado $5000BR> * Check out these & other machines with prices listed in CMR Stable page below.BR>BR>If interested in any of these, contact me & I will provide more pics and info,BR>BR>!--END_ELEMENT1-->/blockquote>p>/p>h2>Previous Restorations/Rides/h2>p>/p>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT1-->a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/samples.html>Sample Work / Old Rides /a>!--END_ELEMENT1-->/blockquote>h2>CMR Stable/h2>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT2-->a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/stable.html>Current Mounts & Projects/a>br />!--END_ELEMENT2-->/blockquote>h2>Other Motorcycle Stuff/h2>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT6-->a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/mx.html>70's Motocross/a>h3>Road Trips:/h3>spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/mis.html> Missoula 98/a>br />spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/bh.html> Black Hills 99/a>br />spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/michigan.html>Michigan 02/a>br />spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/fourcorn.html>Four Corners 04 /a>br />spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/calnev.html>North Coast - Hawthorne 05 /a>br />spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/bh2.html> Black Hills II 08/a>br />spacer size30 typehorizontal>a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/af.html> Angel Fire 09/a>!--END_ELEMENT6-->/spacer>/spacer>/spacer>/spacer>/spacer>/spacer>/spacer>/blockquote>h2>Personal Info/h2>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT7-->a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/personal.html>Personal Information/a>br />a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/dhnresume.html>Professional Resume /a>br />a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/army.html>Ancient Warrior/a>br />a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/curmdgeon.html>Curmudgeons/a>!--END_ELEMENT7-->/blockquote>h2>Contact/h2>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT9-->David Nissebr>1870 Bench Rdbr>Fallon, NV 89406br>(209) 298-4618br />a hrefmailto:nissedh@hughes.net>nissedh@hughes.net/a>!--END_ELEMENT9-->/blockquote>h2>Site Map/h2>blockquote>!--BEGIN_ELEMENT9a-->a hrefhttp://curmudgeon-motorcycle-restoration.net/usermap.html>Sitemap/a>!--END_ELEMENT9a-->/blockquote>p>/p>/body>/html>
