P>The property owners of Brushgrove have the right to run cattle or horses on the Common for payment of a small agistment fee to the N.S.W. Lands Department. There are polished cypress pine floors throughout the middle and upper levels, with black slate in the kitchen and bathrooms. Birds such a Rufus Warblers, Magpies, Kookaburras, Butcher Birds and a variety of parrots, as well as Tawny Frogmouth Owls, nest in the garden and surrounds.
