data-descriptionMultichannel audio, VR/Objects. Authors:Alexander Vasilenko and Gleb Ivanov. The authors developed six objects/nests forming amultichannel sound installation. The conceptwas to commission a machine to createthe life attributes of a biological species - birds. Throughusing neural networks, we generatedimaginary nests, which on the one handon the one hand architecturally, because it's a dwelling, and on the other hand biomorphic and a bit strange. After preparing an hours-long dataset of field notes.recordings of bird chirps, the authors taught a neural network.Rave2 to chirp like a bird that can only be imaginedonly an algorithms can imagine. The physical realizationof this project is an interactiveinstallation that responds to sounds within the space. This project exists in multiple dimensions. In the future, we will have to deal with this issue directly, and humans will have to find thei place in the new reality. In the performance, a human is trying to make contact with the machine and to communicate with it. The human character is trying to master the new language and has to put his body to a test, while watching AI react.Just as machines have to adjust themselves to humans and identify them, humans have to reconsider their place in the technology-driven world, too data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/691bc6b55363b4dcf43d1205db07d9cd.jpeg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/691bc6b55363b4dcf43d1205db07d9cd.jpeg> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/691bc6b55363b4dcf43d1205db07d9cd.jpeg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Dialogue Settings /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>AV PerformanceAuthors: Slava SAF, Artur Sofin, Alexander VasilenkoReal time neural networksGenerative live music PerformersThe.../p> /div> /div> /div> div classcol mb-4> div classposition-relative work ratio ratio-4x3 > a classstretched-link js-work stylecursor: pointer; data-typephoto data-type-link-constantlink data-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg data-carousel-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg data-titleGPU Choir data-descriptionGraphics cards, motherboards, processors, switching, sound resonators, microphones, arduino, power supply, metal case, speakersAuthors: Alexander VasilenkoThis installation presents the process of neural network generation and training, usually hidden in server data centers, in an accessible and visually perceptible form. On a small-diameter podium there are several video cards that continuously train the neural network. The operation of the equipment is accompanied by the characteristic noise of fans and heat generation, which becomes an audio-visual indicator of computing activity.Directional microphones capture the sounds of video card operation. These signals pass through a sound processor, where certain harmonics and overtones are extracted from the general noise. The result is a generative soundscape played through speakers located near the installation. The temperature of the video cards is measured using sensors connected to a microcontroller that converts the data data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> GPU Choir /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Graphics cards, motherboards, processors, switching, sound resonators, microphones, arduino, power supply, metal case, speakersAuthors:.../p> /div> /div> /div> div classcol mb-4> div classposition-relative work ratio ratio-4x3 --work-video> a classstretched-link js-work stylecursor: pointer; data-typevideo_link data-type-link-constantlink data-srchttps://youtu.be/e3p4g-mq6SY data-carousel-srchttps://youtu.be/e3p4g-mq6SY data-titleCovenants data-descriptionThe Bible is perhaps one of the most sacred books of mankind, as well as an incredibly archaic artifact. For me, as an individual who has been immersed in a religious environment since childhood, Bible research is an interesting opportunity to look at the stories and events I know from a different perspective. The basis for beginning the study was my reflections on my memories of biblical scripture: it was important for me to understand how much scripture can be positive or negative, how often does it talk about death and sacrifice? How often did the Bible have kings at war? I decided to answer all these questions by analyzing the complete English-language version of the Bible with the help of various datasets and dictionaries. data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/e3p4g-mq6SY/hqdefault.jpg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/e3p4g-mq6SY/hqdefault.jpg> img classwork-preview srchttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/e3p4g-mq6SY/hqdefault.jpg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Covenants /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>The Bible is perhaps one of the most sacred books of mankind, as well as an incredibly archaic artifact. For this process a 47 minute concerto for 16 solenoids was specially written, which in turn was inspired by the Greek musical tradition (music of spheres, Euclidean rhythms, harmonic structures). This is our continued experimentation with solid material, light and sound. Concave mirror, vibration speaker, controlled light, sound, distilled water / 2024.Description:A light and sound installation based on the interaction of low-frequency sound, light and liquid to produce abstract light canvases on the surfaces of space by reflecting light from a vibrating water surface and emphasizing this phenomenon with a binaural changing sound accompaniment. In this way the realization of all elements of the space as one phenomenon is achieved. The inspiration was a personal acquaintance with S.M. Zorin and R.F. Sayfulin. So this installation is a tribute to the light artists of the USSR, who worked with abstract light and sound images and developed this direction despite the ambiguous and often negative attitude towards abstract art. data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/a83a3f1887335e59f2156dbb8ab2d2f9.jpeg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/a83a3f1887335e59f2156dbb8ab2d2f9.jpeg> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/a83a3f1887335e59f2156dbb8ab2d2f9.jpeg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Fluctuations /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Authors: Alexander Vasilenko, Gleb Ivanov. For this purpose, a "Room of Sensory Sensations" was created with a special interactive environment where sounds, smells and colors become a tool for gaining a new sensory experience. The Playtronica studio team, artist Elizaveta Moskvina and a number of experts in various fields worked on the creation of the space: synesthesia researcher Anton Dorso, neuroscientist Anton Varlamov, sensory integration specialist Maria Shapiro and art therapist Anna She. Olfactory artists Maria Golovina and Pavel Nikandrov (Holynose) worked with the sense of smell for the project. The protest against sameness and staticity exists somewhere inside, from which it is impossible to escape. A construction that devours itself distances the individual from real life, offering a simulacrum that completely replaces the concepts and circumstances in which the individual exists. In this work we question the concepts of reality and freedom of choice, their place in society as absolutes, as well as the interpretation of these concepts in general. data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/VRpOVeGHM8U/hqdefault.jpg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/VRpOVeGHM8U/hqdefault.jpg> img classwork-preview srchttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/VRpOVeGHM8U/hqdefault.jpg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Endless Recreations /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>AuthorsAlexander Vasilenko, Parkev MagdesyanVRPseudo-heterotopia, which has everything and has nothing. The strike of 1905, which began at the Putilov plant, resulted in a mass march of workers to the Winter Palace, the purpose of which was to hand the dawn Petition on the needs of workers. The march was intercepted by military units who opened fire on the peaceful demonstrators. These events have gone down in history as "Bloody Sunday"According to eyewitnesses, on the day of the march it was possible to observe a "halo" over St. Petersburg, a rare optical phenomenon, a secondary glow around the sun, or "false sun", considered to be an omen portending trouble data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/A6xNWK4f0Rc/hqdefault.jpg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/A6xNWK4f0Rc/hqdefault.jpg> img classwork-preview srchttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/A6xNWK4f0Rc/hqdefault.jpg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Halo /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Authors:Yan Posadskiy, Alexander Vasilenko.Mapping, Videoart. The work addresses important and tragic events that had a direct relation.../p> /div> /div> /div> div classcol mb-4> div classposition-relative work ratio ratio-4x3 > a classstretched-link js-work stylecursor: pointer; data-typephoto data-type-link-constantlink data-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/b3229e09e899d38b18ff6b438a931d1c.png data-carousel-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/b3229e09e899d38b18ff6b438a931d1c.png data-titleVoice System Sound Design Yandex Delivery Robots data-descriptionDevelopment and implementation of sound design and generative voice system into unmanned delivery robots2022 data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/b3229e09e899d38b18ff6b438a931d1c.png> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/b3229e09e899d38b18ff6b438a931d1c.png> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/b3229e09e899d38b18ff6b438a931d1c.png /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Voice System Sound Design Yandex Delivery Robots /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Development and implementation of sound design and generative voice system into unmanned delivery robots2022/p> /div> /div> /div> div classcol mb-4> div classposition-relative work ratio ratio-4x3 > a classstretched-link js-work stylecursor: pointer; data-typephoto data-type-link-constantlink data-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/2915d51d51d9372b3b7dd72d9b63037c.jpeg data-carousel-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/2915d51d51d9372b3b7dd72d9b63037c.jpeg data-titleGenerative Audio Reactive Adaptive Sound System Yandex Self Drive Cars data-descriptionSound designGenerative, Audio Reactive and Adaptive Sound System in Yandex SDC2021 data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/2915d51d51d9372b3b7dd72d9b63037c.jpeg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/2915d51d51d9372b3b7dd72d9b63037c.jpeg> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/2915d51d51d9372b3b7dd72d9b63037c.jpeg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Generative Audio Reactive Adaptive Sound System Yandex Self Drive Cars /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Sound designGenerative, Audio Reactive and Adaptive Sound System in Yandex SDC2021/p> /div> /div> /div> div classcol mb-4> div classposition-relative work ratio ratio-4x3 --work-video> a classstretched-link js-work stylecursor: pointer; data-typevideo_link data-type-link-constantlink data-srchttps://youtu.be/FizWVD_rqQY?sizkBcKVwrC1An2ZDP data-carousel-srchttps://youtu.be/FizWVD_rqQY?sizkBcKVwrC1An2ZDP data-titleBare. Generative algorithms manage the synchronization of stimuli, creating harmonious correspondences between perceptual modalities. The olfactory part is implemented using SensoryLab's science and technology base and its patented odor delivery technology. The research blurs the boundaries between sensations, turning perception into a living, synesthetic experience. data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/4197f72fec9049fe3560852391e89e94.jpeg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/4197f72fec9049fe3560852391e89e94.jpeg> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/4197f72fec9049fe3560852391e89e94.jpeg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> Multisensory Connections 2.0 /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Audio-visual olfactory installationAuthors: Alexander Vasilenko, Gleb IvanovThe project explores cross-modal sensuality by combining.../p> /div> /div> /div> div classcol > div classposition-relative work ratio ratio-4x3 > a classstretched-link js-work stylecursor: pointer; data-typephoto data-type-link-constantlink data-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg data-carousel-srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/big/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg data-titleGPU Choir data-descriptionGraphics cards, motherboards, processors, switching, sound resonators, microphones, arduino, power supply, metal case, speakersAuthors: Alexander VasilenkoThis installation presents the process of neural network generation and training, usually hidden in server data centers, in an accessible and visually perceptible form. The temperature of the video cards is measured using sensors connected to a microcontroller that converts the data data-paymentsW10 > picture classwork-preview> source media(max-width: 767px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/work/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg> source media(min-width: 768px) srcsethttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg> img classwork-preview srchttps://sitestorage.art.art/alexandervasilenko.art/workretina/8e5999c599350ee574a7924237e09099.jpeg /> /picture> /a> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100> div classwork-nameplates> /div> /div> div classposition-absolute top-0 start-0 w-100 h-100 bg-black work-overlay fade>/div> div classposition-absolute bottom-0 w-100 p-2 work-note fade> h3 classmt-2 text-break> GPU Choir /h3> p classff-sora mt-10 text-break>Graphics cards, motherboards, processors, switching, sound resonators, microphones, arduino, power supply, metal case, speakersAuthors:.../p> /div> /div> /div> /div> /div>/section>footer classd-flex align-items-center justify-content-center py-6> span classmade-with>Made with a hrefhttps://get.art> svg width50 xmlnshttp://www.w3.org/2000/svg xmlns:xlinkhttp://www.w3.org/1999/xlink viewBox0 0 895.94 366.39>defs>style>.cls-1{fill:currentColor;}.cls-2{fill:#e83e27;}.cls-3{clip-path:url(#clip-path);}.cls-4{clip-path:url(#clip-path-2);}.cls-5{clip-path:url(#clip-path-3);}.cls-6{clip-path:url(#clip-path-4);}/style>clipPath idclip-path>path classcls-1 dM370.25,193h47.82c45.32,0,71.87-24.35,71.87-59.77,0-33.51-26.15-59.76-59.54-59.76H318.18L294.94,20.82H434.33c63.83,0,112,48.31,112,112.37,0,47-28.51,87.36-72.81,103.43l87.19,110.25H493.32L370.25,193/>/clipPath>clipPath idclip-path-2>path classcls-1 dM610.69,20.82a206.13,206.13,0,0,1,24,52.59h82V346.87h56V73.41H878.59V20.82H610.69/>/clipPath>clipPath idclip-path-3>path classcls-1 dM146.75,146l88.45,199.4h61.67L151.9,17.35S114.47,102,107.56,117.67c16.79-7.25,27.09-.31,39.19,28.36/>/clipPath>clipPath idclip-path-4>path classcls-2 dM59.85,263.71a42.67,42.67,0,1,0,42.51,42.66,42.58,42.58,0,0,0-42.51-42.66/>/clipPath>/defs>title>logo_b_r/title>g idLayer_2 data-nameLayer 2>g idwithout_text_black>path idSVGID classcls-1 dM370.25,193h47.82c45.32,0,71.87-24.35,71.87-59.77,0-33.51-26.15-59.76-59.54-59.76H318.18L294.94,20.82H434.33c63.83,0,112,48.31,112,112.37,0,47-28.51,87.36-72.81,103.43l87.19,110.25H493.32L370.25,193/>path classcls-1 dM370.25,193h47.82c45.32,0,71.87-24.35,71.87-59.77,0-33.51-26.15-59.76-59.54-59.76H318.18L294.94,20.82H434.33c63.83,0,112,48.31,112,112.37,0,47-28.51,87.36-72.81,103.43l87.19,110.25H493.32L370.25,193/>g classcls-3>rect classcls-1 x277.59 y3.47 width300.44 height360.75/>/g>path idSVGID-2 data-nameSVGID classcls-1 dM610.69,20.82a206.13,206.13,0,0,1,24,52.59h82V346.87h56V73.41H878.59V20.82H610.69/>path classcls-1 dM610.69,20.82a206.13,206.13,0,0,1,24,52.59h82V346.87h56V73.41H878.59V20.82H610.69/>g classcls-4>rect classcls-1 x593.34 y3.47 width302.6 height360.75/>/g>path idSVGID-3 data-nameSVGID classcls-1 dM146.75,146l88.45,199.4h61.67L151.9,17.35S114.47,102,107.56,117.67c16.79-7.25,27.09-.31,39.19,28.36/>path classcls-1 dM146.75,146l88.45,199.4h61.67L151.9,17.35S114.47,102,107.56,117.67c16.79-7.25,27.09-.31,39.19,28.36/>g classcls-5>rect classcls-1 x90.22 width224.01 height362.78/>/g>path classcls-2 dM59.85,263.71a42.67,42.67,0,1,0,42.51,42.66,42.58,42.58,0,0,0-42.51-42.66/>g classcls-6>rect classcls-2 y246.36 width119.71 height120.03/>/g>/g>/g>/svg> /a> /span>/footer> script src/build/runtime.6ad5c9da.js defer>/script>script src/build/metaverse.f4cf1779.js defer>/script>/body>/html>
