Aid』を買いました。/p>p>実際に買ったのは、映画『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』を観てしばらく経ってからなので、若干の今更感は否めないですが、細かいことは気にせずに、自分の書きたいことを書いていきます。/p>p>まず、私はQueenのどの程度のファンなのかということを説明しておきます。/p>p>以前は、持っていたQueenのCDといえば、日本独自企画ベスト盤の『Jewels』二部作とライブ盤数枚程度で、それもめっちゃ好きな曲が何曲かあった程度で、Queenというバンドに特別な思い入れを抱いていたわけではありませんでした。/p>p>それが、なぜ、ライブ映像作品を買ったり、オリジナル・アルバムも買い集めだしたりしたかというと、ありがちなんですけど、映画『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』を観たからですね。/p>p>あれでハマってしまいました。/p>p>私も、あの熱狂の狂騒曲に巻き込まれたひとりだった、というわけです。/p>p>iframe Montreal & Live Aid』を観た感想をひと言で言い表すと、映画のキャストがそっくりそのままライブ・パフォーマンスを繰り広げているようにしか見えなくて思わず笑ってしまった、これに尽きます。/p>p>まあ、実際は逆なんですけどね。後追いなのでそう見えてしまったのです。/p>p>それほど、『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』でのキャストたちの熱演、再現性が素晴らしかったという証左でもあるでしょう。/p>p>映画の前にこのライブ映像を観ていたら、本人たちが映画に出演しているようにしか見えなかったでしょうね。/p>p>このRock Montrealは1981年の公演ですが、この当時ですでにQueenの名曲代表曲が網羅された圧巻のセットリストで、これは堪らないですね。/p>p>しかも、フレディの喉は絶好調で、バンドの熱演をも圧倒する驚異の声量ですし、ライブならではのジャムセッションアレンジも随所に散りばめながら、再現性も高いというスキのなさ。いやこれは凄いライブですね。/p>p>伝説の証とかいう、壮大すぎる邦題にも負けないパフォーマンスです。/p>p>これだけのものを見せられると、もはや叶わぬこととは知りながらも、願わくばとか思っちゃいますよね。/p>p>iframe p>カメラで写真を撮る際、すべて自動でカメラ任せでも、今どきのカメラは賢いので、なかなか馬鹿にできない絵を吐き出してくれるのですが、せっかく高いお金を出してカメラを買ったからには、自分がこう撮りたいという明確な狙いを持って、撮影時の設定を追い込んでいきたいですよね。/p>p>その設定を追い込んでいくときの三大要素に、F値、シャッタースピード、ISO感度がありまして、これらの三大要素の値が密接に絡み合って、その結果として写真の表現に反映されるのですが、この三大要素の相関性が、カメラ初心者にはとにかく取っつきにくくてわかりにくいんですよね。/p>p>私も、デジタル一眼カメラを買ったばっかりの頃に、友人から何度も説明してもらったのですが、まったく理解できずに、最初の数年間はオートでしか撮っていませんでした。/p>p>その後、自分なりに、せっかくデジタル一眼カメラ買ったのにオートでしか撮らないのももったいないなと一念発起して、少しずつAモードやTvモードを選択してみるようになり、そのおかげで何となくF値とシャッタースピードとISO感度の関連性がわかるようになってきたので、ここ最近はマニュアル撮影するようにもなりました。/p>p>自動でカメラ任せでも綺麗に撮れるので、別にそれでもいいっちゃいいんですけど、これ綺麗、写真に撮りたい、となったときに、何もわからないのと、どの要素をどういじると、写真としての表現にどのような違いが現れるのか、知っているのと知っていないのとでは、やっぱり違いが出てきますよね、ちょっとしたところでも。/p>p>最初は上手くいかなくて失敗も多いでしょうけど、せっかく設定を追い込めるカメラを使っているのであれば、明確な狙いでもって、そのとおりの仕上がりに持っていきたいですよね、マニュアル撮影で。/p>p>先日、YouTubeのおすすめに上がってきまして、カメラの設定を追い込んでいく上でめちゃくちゃ参考になるチャンネルを発見したので、ここに紹介します。/p>p>ゆ〜とびさんです。/p>p>iframe hrefhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtsSjW0vQfrujy-T5NJERMg>www.youtube.com/a>/cite>/p>p>ゆ〜とびさんの動画の素晴らしいところは、ひとつひとつ、実例を上げながら丁寧に説明してくれているところです。/p>p>これは貴重ですよ。/p>p>ブログやYouTubeで、作例に設定を表記してくれているところは結構見かけるのですが、それらひとつひとつについて、どのような狙いがあってこの構図になったのか、焦点距離を決めたのか、設定になったのか、丁寧に説明してくれるところなんて、めったにお目にかかれないですからね。/p>p>被写体はどれで、主題と副題と背景をどうするか決めて、条件を満たす構図を探して、さらに狙い通りの表現のために設定を追い込んで、その結果の作例までテンポよく見せてくれるので、めっちゃ参考になります。/p>p>最初に狙いを話してくれるので、私は「ってことは、こんな感じの設定に追い込んでいくのかな？」と想像して、答え合わせを楽しんでいます。/p>p>光芒をきれいに出したいからこの値をこうする、背景をボカしたいからこの値をこうする、被写体ブレを抑えたいからこの値をこうする、シャッタースピードを稼ぎたいからこの値をこうする、これとこれをこう入れたいからこんな構図にする、こういったことをひとつひとつ説明してくれるので、わかりやすさ抜群です。/p>p>前提として、ある程度、F値、シャッタースピード、ISO感度の相関性がわかっている方が、より深く理解できると思うので、私も最初とっつきにくすぎて苦労したので気が進まないのはわかるつもりですが、ゆ〜とびさんの動画を見てちんぷんかんぷんだったら、なんとか、カメラを試行錯誤しながら弄り倒して、三大要素の相関性についてなんとなくわかってくるまで、耐えましょう。/p>p>なんとなくわかってきたら、改めてゆ〜とびさんの動画を見てみてください。/p>p>なるほど！　そういうことだったのか！/p>p>目からウロコの体験になると確信しています。/p>p>そして、今まで写真撮影で訪れた観光名所に、撮り直しのために再訪したくなること間違いなしです。/p>p>iframe XRという、素晴らしい高性能カメラを持っているにもかかわらず。/p>p>何やら、何を無駄遣いしているのかという白い視線を感じますが、いや、いいんです、これでいいのです。そもそもの用途が違うので、これはセーフなのです。/p>p>EOS 8000Dはマジの写真撮影、iPhoneは気軽に撮ってメモ代わり、Osmo Pocketは手持ちで滑らかな動画撮影、Osmo Actionは水遊びや雪遊びや車載動画に。/p>p>ほら、使い分け完璧ですから。/p>p>細かいことを言えば、ちょっと被っているところもあるので、そこを突っ込まれると苦しいんですけど、そもそもの用途が違いますから。セーフです。誰がなんと言おうと、セーフなのです。/p>p>…セーフですよね？/p>p>DJIは、ドローンやジンバルのリリースを重ねて着々とその地位を築き、気がつけばいつの間にやら業界トップに躍り出ていたメーカーです。/p>p>数年前までは、ニッチな分野で頭角を現した面白そうなメーカーが出てきたな、という程度の認識しかなかったのですが、一気にDJI製品に惹かれだしたのは、やはりOsmo Pocketの登場でしょうね。/p>p>あの小ささであの性能は、反則でしょう。初めて、完全ワイヤレスイヤホンを見たときに通じる衝撃でしたね。/p>p>思わず買ってしまったほどですから。普段、写真がメインで、動画を撮ることなんて、ほぼないに等しいのに。まああの小ささなので、たとえ動画を撮ることがなかったとしても、誤差の範囲で荷物として負担にはならないだろうという判断で、購入に至りました。/p>p>Osmo Actionは、もともとアクションカメラはGoPro HERO 4 Sesseionを使っていたんですけど、夏の水遊びを撮っているぶんにはまったく問題ないんですけど、冬の雪遊びを撮っている最中の動作が不安定になってしまい、これは使い物にならないな、もう買い替えだな、というタイミングに登場しました。/p>p>GoProのフラッグシップよりちょっと安い、サクサクで軽快な操作感、超広角は要らない、ド派手な色味もあまり好みではない、製品名やシステム名に縁を感じた、初っ端から完成度が高かった、そんなところが決め手となっての購入です。/p>p>ただ、動画って、編集がめんどくさいんですよね。そこがネック。/p>p>撮ってそのままでは、とてもじゃないですが退屈すぎて見てられないので、ここぞってところを自分で選んで抜粋してつなげる必要があるのですが、そんなただのカットアンドペーストに、異様に手間がかかるという。/p>p>動画を撮ったはいいものの、放ったらかしでHDDの肥やしになってしまいそうな予感満載です。/p>p>実は、花桃の里で、Osmo Pocketで動画を撮ってきたのですが、編集がめんどくさすぎてなかなか重い腰が上がらず、編集してから公開まで、約ひと月かかってしまいました。/p>p>写真メインで撮っていたので、動画素材はほんのわずかだったのですが、それでも気が重くて、なかなか編集に取り掛かれない始末。/p>p>編集に慣れて少しずつ作業スピードが上がっていけば、気の重さも少しは軽減されるのかもしれませんが。/p>blockquote p>6月9日、ロックの日。/p>p>せっかく洋楽ロックにハマってこの半生を送ってきたからには、たまにはロックの日にちなんだことでも書いてみようかな、と思い立ちまして、パソコンに向き合っています。/p>p>う〜ん、何かあったかな、といろいろと考えたり思い出したりしてみた結果、洋楽ロック・バンドQueena YouTube）/a>と、週刊少年ジャンプで連載されていた人気漫画『ジョジョの奇妙な冒険』にまつわる思い出を語っていきます。/p>p>『ジョジョ』といえば、登場人物やそのスタンド、必殺技の名前が、洋楽のバンドやアーティスト、もしくはその名曲にちなんでいることで有名ですが、私がジャンプに連載中のジョジョ四部を読んでいた当時、洋楽に興味を持ち始めたかどうかも怪しい頃で、したがって、そんな背景はまったく知らずに毎週楽しみにしていました。/p>p>そんな折、ジョジョ四部のラスボスである吉良吉影のスタンド、キラークイーンの圧倒的な能力が露見して、吉良と対決していた主人公たちはもちろん、我々読者も絶望のどん底に叩き落とされました。/p>p>「は！？　なにこれ！？　キラークイーン強すぎるだろ。反則じゃん。いくら承太郎でも、こんなの勝てっこないって」/p>p>荒木先生は、こんな状況から一体どうやって逆転勝利に結びつける気なんだろう？/p>p>この頃、連載の読者はみんな、さぞハラハラしていたことでしょう。/p>p>バイツァ・ダストの覚醒だけでもそりゃねーぜって嘆きたくなるほどぶっ飛んでたのに、挙句の果てにはストレイ・キャットと合体までしましたからね。/p>p>ちゅーか、この頃から洋楽ロックに親しんでたら、キラークイーンとストレイ・キャットの合体とか胸熱すぎる！　と血湧き肉躍ってたんだろうなぁ。それだけがちょっと残念ですね。リアルタイムでこの展開に興奮したかった。/p>p>ちなみに、洋楽ロックに傾倒するようになって、Queenの名曲Killer Queenにシビれたあとにジョジョ四部を読み返した私は、キラークイーンの強さに納得しました。/p>p>「うんうん、あの高貴で美しくも麗しい名曲がスタンドとして顕現したのなら、これくらい強いのは当たり前」/p>p>ジョジョ四部の登場人物に、しげちーという愛くるしいキャラがいたんですけども、そのおかげで、当時からの親友シゲノリ君のあだ名が、一時期しげちーになりました。/p>p>しげちーのことは憎めなくて好きだったんですけどね、親友には同情してしまいました。というのも、死んじゃうのでね、しげちー…。/p>p>その、死んだと同時に、みんな示し合わせたかのように一斉にしげちーとは呼ばなくなって、それもめっちゃ印象に残ってるんですよね。/p>p>思い出というほどでもない最近の話だと、写真仲間のひとりが、元旦は新しいパンツを下ろすと言っていて、まるで仗助みたいなこだわりだな、と思いました。その仲間は漫画好きではあるんですけど、ジョジョを読んだことはないみたいなので、偶然の一致ですね。/p>p>iframe p>長らくタイトル未定で、発売日も決定したと思ったらいつの間にやら延期を繰り返し、果たして本当に発売されるのかと不安を覚えていた人も多いでしょう。/p>p>ドイツ出身のメロディアス・ハード・ロック・バンド、Fair Warningのデビュー25周年記念ライブ作品。/p>p>神奈川県川崎市のライブホール、クラブチッタにて、2017年の4月下旬、二夜に渡って開催された公演が、完全収録されています。/p>p>そのタイトルが、ようやく『Two Nights To Remember』に決まったという知らせを見たとき、私の身体を、Fair Warningとはまったく関係のないあることに気がついた衝撃が、駆け抜けました。/p>p>ああ！　Von Grooveのあの名曲！/p>p>あれってもしかして、いやもしかしなくても、っていうか絶対そうじゃん！/p>p>Two Nights In Tokyoって、Harem Scaremの初来日公演で、Von Grooveが二日間サポートを担当したときのことを歌った曲だったのか！/p>p>いや、お恥ずかしい限りで、ホント何を今さらって話なんですけど、この雷に打たれたかの衝撃を受けて、慌ててVon Grooveのアルバム解説を読み返したクチでして。/p>p>そしたら、頭から丁寧にTwo Nights In Tokyoの由来が解説されていまして、やっぱりそうだったのか！　と膝を叩くと同時に、購入時に解説も読んでいたはずなのにすっかり忘れているとは、己の不甲斐なさに恥じ入るばかりでありました。/p>p>まあ、あの頃はライブには興味なかったですからね。家でCDを聴いたり、MDにマイベストを編集するだけで満足していましたから。/p>p>ライブに関する記述がまったく頭に残っていなかったとしても、何ら不思議ではありません。/p>p>Tokyoじゃなくて、Kawasakiと冠してくれよ、それなら一発で察せられたのに。Harem Scaremの初来日公演について調べたときに。/p>p>そんな注文をつけたくなってしまうところですが、まあ、川崎も東京のすぐ隣で、ほぼ東京みたいなものですからね。対外的な分かりやすさのためにも、Two Nights In Tokyoとなってしまうのも、致し方ないところでしょう。/p>p>img classhatena-fotolife Warningのライブ、いいですね、やっぱり。/p>p>Tommy Heartのステージング、好きですよ。喋りすぎず淡々としすぎず、ほとんど休憩も取らない熱い進行、ベストバランスじゃないですかね。/p>p>セットリストを見るに、最近の曲をバッサリ切り捨てている傾向にあるのが、潔しと拍手を送りたくなるような、再結成前よりさすがに劣るとはいえ、再結成後も高品質には違いないので寂しくなるような、ちょっと複雑な気持ちもありますが。/p>p>確か、事前に再録ベスト『Pimp Your Past』を軸としたセットリストを組むと告知されていて、それはちょっとなあと敬遠してしまったんですが、アルバムのリリース間隔も長くて来日公演自体が貴重ですし、結果を見てもPYPバージョンはわずか3曲だったようですし、これなら行けばよかったとか思っちゃいますよね。/p>p>うーん、どうなんでしょうね。余計な憶測や期待や逡巡を招きかねない事前告知は、紛らわしいので止めたほうがいいように思うのですが。/p>p>いや、そんなに好きなら四の五の抜かさずに行っとけやって意見ももっともですし、自分でもそう思いますけど、とはいえ事前に情報が開示されていたら、それをもとに考えちゃいますよね、損得を。/p>p>決して安くはないチケットを買って、さらに移動にも時間とお金をかけるわけですから。何も考えずに突撃とは、なかなかならないですよ。/p>p>好きなバンドはFair
